Welcome to my first blog post. A little bit about me, I’m a seventh grade English teacher in New Jersey that writes and illustrates poems as well as children’s stories. I’ve formed my own imprint, Dartanion Press, named after my first original character (an imaginary lizard who comes to life when his friend needs him to be brave). I’ve been so busy finishing up my doctoral dissertation and settling my students down from the pandemic that it seems that time just flies away.
In this blog, I will post full-text copies of my poems and other creative work as a means of making them easier to find in search engines, as one colleague put it, “Google loves words,” so here we are, and I can’t wait to add more as I find the time.
